KUNAR (The Killid) – At least six Daesh members killed during an operation carried by Afghan security forces in Sokey district of Kunar province in West.
Abdul Ghani Musamim, Spokesman for the Provincial Governor, told The Killid, “this operation was carried at Chambel valley of Sokey district, where beside killing six of Daesh members, two of their facilities were wrecked.”
Afghan security forces did not suffer any casualties.
According to Musamim, forces nabbed a suspect involved with the group, and discovered a huge number of arms and ammunitions, which was then seized.
Daesh militants so far did not comment on the incident.
