BALKH (The Killid) – The Taliban insurgents raided Afghan security forces posts in Chatmal and Chahr Bolak districts of Balkh province in North, local authorities said.
Mohammad Hanif Razae, Spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told The Killid, “yesterday afternoon (Sunday), the attack by government opposition groups in Chatmal district of Balkh province has been defeated by the Afghan security forces.”
At least four insurgents killed and further three wounded during the clashes, including one Afghan force.
Meanwhile, Razae confirms similar attack in Sharsharak district of Charbolak in Northern Province, adding three opposition group members, including their team leader Motawal (who goes with a single name) killed.
Afghan forces did not suffer any casualties in Charbolak clashes.
Taliban immediately did not release report on the incident.
