DAYKUNDI (The Killid) – Civil society activist during a press conference in central province – expressing concerns over raising insecurities – said they might lose several districts of Daykundi if the government does not take immediate action against the militant groups.
It comes at a time Afghan security forces are in a serious battle with so-called the Taliban insurgents in Kajran district.
Sayed Anwar Rahmati, Provincial Governor, told The Killid, “war between the Afghan security forces and the Taliban are still ongoing,” adding forces need immediate backup.
Kajran district is next Murghab district of the Helman province in south, and considered as one of the most insecure areas.
