JOWZJAN (The Killid) – Local Elderlies helped some 40 Afghan National Defense Security Forces free from Taliban captivity in Qosh Tepa district of Jowzjan province in North Afghanistan.
Mohammad Hanif Razae, Spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told The Killid, “Among the released are 33 Afghan National Armies.”
Meanwhile, the Taliban confirmed they have freed 42 ANDSF by the intermediary and guarantee of local elderlies, with assurance they will not join the Afghan force again.

It comes after some 200 forces were killed and further dozens wounded during clashes between the Taliban and Afghan security forces in Qosh Tepa district.
