LOGAR (The Killid) – At least 50 Taliban insurgents killed in an airstrike and ground operation carried by Afghan security forces, Ministry of Interior Affairs and Defense said in two separate statements.
According to the statement by MoIA, Afghan security forces carried an attack against the Taliban hideouts at Sholook Babus village Wednesday evening, killing at least 10 Taliban, including Qari Raz Mohammad (known as Moqaddas), Taliban recruitment officer; and Sara and Hanid, key members.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan said in a separate statement, 42 Taliban insurgent killed during an airstrike carried by Special Forces in Khooshi district of Logar province.
At least 37 Kalashnikov, three rockets, five PK Machine guns and 20 sets of Walkie-Talkies were discovered and seized.
Taliban immediately did not release any report on this regard.
