KABUL (The Killi) – A loud explosion disrupted the relative calm routine in Afghan capital Monday morning.
The explosion occurred in Police District 16, close to Pul-e-Mahmood Khan, of Kabul city, sources said. The area is close to Afghanistan Football Federation and Ghazi Stadium.
Gunfire being heard from the blast scene, according to eyewitnesses.
Officials from the football federation said at least 16 of its members were wounded and the building has been damaged.
Some 20 people who suffered casualties are landed in nearby hospitals, sources added.
