North Clashes Claim 9 Talib Commanders      

KHOOST (The Killid) – Afghan security forces, in cooperation with Resolute Support forces, carried a special operation at Bodana Qala district of Sholgara in Northern Province of Afghanistan, killing at least 49 Taliban, including nine of their commanders.

KHOOST (The Killid) – Afghan security forces, in cooperation with Resolute Support forces, carried a special operation at Bodana Qala district of Sholgara in Northern Province of Afghanistan, killing at least 45 Taliban, including nine of their commanders.

Mohammad Hanif Razae, Spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told The Killid, “this operation started at around 2:15am today (Sunday), and through airstrike and ground attacks, the Taliban hideouts were targeted in Sholgara district.”

Razae further said a huge number of Taliban were wounded, but did not provide exact figure.

It comes at a time Afghan forces were under high security threats in recent weeks in north, where they raided against security posts.

Taliban so far did not comment on the incident.
