The Afghanistan National Cricket Team, in its fifth game against the England cricket team, handed over the victory by 150 runs in ICC World Cup 2019.
England won the toss and chose to bat first against Afghanistan, where the team set 398 runs by losing its only 6 players in all 50 overs.
While, Afghanistan National Cricket Team could manage 247 urns, losing its eight players, with a difference of 150 runs against England team.
Rashid Khan, country’s outstanding player, managed to score 110 runs in 9th over without any wickets, allowing him to set record for World Cup.
The game, held at Old Trafford sports stadium in England, was also attended by Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.
The country’s National Cricket Team is due play against India on June 22, making it the sixth game.
