KABUL (The Killid) – Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah supporting demands of the people from the ongoing peace process in the country, says no one can become peace champion alone.
Abdulllah in a meeting of the Ministers Councils on Monday said peace do not belong to one person, and all Afghans want peace to prevail in the country.
He further said that Taliban has been freed from prison with a good will; but if this kind of initiatives are linked to electoral campaign, it will lose its effect.
It comes after hundreds of Taliban members were released from Afghan prison following a decree by the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
