HERAT (The Killid) – At least one Afghan National Army were killed and two school girls injured in a raid Taliban carried at local school in western province, officials of the provincial hospital said.
Mohammad Arif Jalali, Head of the provincial hospital, told The Killid, “The victims are landed at hospital in Gulran district.”
The conditions are severe, he added.
Meanwhile, local and security officials denied the claim of school being attacked by the Taliban.
Jelani Farhad, spokesman for the provincial governor, said to The Killid, “Today (Thursday) morning, armed terrorist attacked at the center of Gulran district, in result one National Army member was killed and two school students age 10-13 were wounded.”
According to Farhad, no one has been arrested, but investigation is under way in the regard.
No group or individual has so far claim responsibility for the attack.
