KABUL (The Killid) – Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left Kabul Thursday morning for Shanghai, as he is due to attend the 19th summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
According to the statement by ARG (also Presidential Palace), Afghan leader will meet a number of prominent politicians in sideline of the conference.
“Besides speaking at the summit, President Ghani will also meet with heads of various states on the sidelines of conference,” ARG said in a tweet Thursday.

The event will take place in Kyrgyzstan capital Bishkek today, and will last for two days.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is a Eurasian political, economic, and security alliance, the creation of which was announced on 15 June 2001 in Shanghai, China by the leaders of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
