NANGARHAR (The Killid) – A local Mullah shot dead in Khewa district of Nangarhar provine, as unknown gunmen stormed fired, provincial authorities said.
Fareed Khan, spokesman for the local police station, said to The Killid, “This spiritual leader named Mowlawi Safi Ullah, and was an Imam at Kalatak mosque in Khewa district of the province.”
According to Khan, the incidents happened around 5am, where the suspects could escape the scene after shooting him to dead.
Meanwhile, provincial media office in a statement said Safi Ullah, beside his holy duty as Imam, was a teacher at Tawakal School.
No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
