13 Civilians Freed from Taliban Prison in Kunduz

KUNDUZ (The Killid) – At least 13 civilians – who have been languishing in prisons of Taliban – are freed in northeast of the country, the 217th Pamir Corps said in a statement.

KUNDUZ (The Killid) – At least 13 civilians – who have been languishing in prisons of Taliban – are freed in northeast of the country, the 217th Pamir Corps said in a statement.

According to the statement, special unit of the national army carried an operation against a prison belong to the Taliban in Aqtash district of Kunduz.

At least one prion is wrecked down to the gourd and 13 civilians are freed, statement read.

The 217th Pamir Corps did not provide further details.

It comes amid efforts Afghan security forces carries special operations throughout the country, mainly in most insecure areas, in a bid to clear cities of Taliban insurgents.

Taliban so far did not comment on the incident.
