FARAH (The Killid) – Clashes between the Taliban and Afghan security forces claimed at least six of the militants and further five wounded, officials said.
Mohammad Arif Razae, media office of the 207th Zafar Corps, said to The Killid, “Last night, the Taliban militants opened fires against Afghan security forces at Ziyarat Abgarm of Andar Dara district in Farah, killing at least six and wounding five other.”
Afghan security force did not suffer any loss, he added.
Taliban so far did not comment on the incident.
Farah is one of the most insecure provinces in West, where the militants has recently influenced over the residents in a bid to gain power.
