Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif met with Iraqi President Barham Salih in Baghdad, discussing joint cooperation and regional affairs.
According to local media, both parties met Saturday evening, where they discussed joint cooperation and recent changes in the region.
Previously, Zarif met with Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, and is due to meet with Head of Parliament Mohammad Al Hal Boss and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ali Alhakim, during his visit in Baghdad.
Prior to his visit in Iraq, Zarif traveled to Russia, Turkmenistan, India, Japan, China and Pakistan.
