Paktika (The Killid) – In an operation carried by special forces, a group of six Taliban terrorists were arrested in Shirna city of Paktika province in southeast of Afghanistan, said National Defense Security press office in a statement.
Amongst the six found guilty of terrorist attack in the city, Sayed Bilal son of Nezamuddin – one of the suspects – confessed he has been busy identifying and plotting attacks against top government officials in the city, as ordered by the Taliban group.
It comes amid efforts the United States and Afghan government are negotiating with the Taliban representatives to end the long-fought war in Afghanistan.
