Balkh (The Killid) – North clashes over security posts between the Taliban insurgents and Afghan security forces at Pul Babo district of Chatmal claimed at least one Afghan National Army member and further 3 wounded, local authorities confirmed.
Adel Shah Adel, spokesman for the provincial police, said to The Killid, “Last night, during the incident, one ANA member was killed, and one further – including two Afghan police forces – were wounded.”
According to Adel, militants suffered heavy casualties as backup forces came in support, but did not provide further details.
Taliban, so far, did not comment on the claim.
