Samangan (The Killid) – Commander Mohammad Naem of the Public Uprising Forces, including two of his group members, have been killed in clashes with the Taliban insurgents in Roy Do Ab district of Samangan province in north, local authorities confirmed.
Haji Raz Mohammad, Head of the Provincial Council, told The Killid, “Yesterday, this commander of the Public Uprising Forces, including his forces, have been killed in an ambush attach by the Taliban militants in Roy Do Ab district.”

It comes week after the Taliban carried aggressive attacks over security posts in the district of the Samangan province that killed at least four PUF members and wounded several further.
Recently, the Roy Do Ab district has been considered one of the most insecure area, causing fear and threats among residents.
