Faryab (The Killid) – At least six insurgents were killed and further five were wounded in an attack they carried against several security posts of Afghan troops and Public Uprising Forces in Qesar district of Northwestern province, local officials confirmed.
According to provincial authorities, the attacked broke at 8pm last night, ending 2 in the morning of the next day, after being buttered by the backup security forces at the location.
Karim Yourish, Spokesperson for the provincial police, said to The Killid, “In this clashes, six armed opposition group members have been killed, and five further wounded.”
At least two Afghan security forces were also killed, he added.

It comes after the Vice President Abdul Rashid Dostum warned government of its “inattention” to Northern Provinces security situation, saying he will decide and retaliate against militants on his own if their concerns was not addressed.
