Herat (The Killid) – Afghans yielded more than AFN5 million during a five-day exhibition of country’s products under tittle the “Lapiz-Lazuli Route Caravan” in western province of Afghanistan.
Hamidullah Khadem, head of the Herat Union of Mines and Industries, expressing optimism about the high spectators’ attendance at the exhibition, said to The Killid, “During these five days, exhibitors could sell [Afghan products] from 5,000 up to 150,000 AFN each day.”
Beside introducing Afghan products to the people through the exhibition, tens of contracts have been inked between the local businessmen and provincial investors, according to Khadem.
Meanwhile, a local businessman – who portrayed candies and chocolates – said to The Killid that he had more than 70,000 revenues within the five-day exhibition.
Organizers of the expo, in the meantime, dubbed prior preparation for the event, exposing country’s products and presence of overwhelming visitors the contributing factors for rising sells and revenues.
