Farah (The Killid) – The Taliban insurgents raided a public market at Anar Dara district of the southwestern province of the country early Wednesday morning, according to a number of provincial council members.
Dadullah Qaney, a member of the Council, told The Killid, “Currently Taliban are present at front gardens of Anar Dara district building, and fights between the Afghan security forces and the armed Taliban militants are ongoing near security posts and office.”
Qaney urged government to send a backup military support to get rid of the militant and possible casualties.
No figures on number of casualties have been reported.
Taliban so far did not comment on the incident.
