Afghan Children in the Verge of Malnutrition

Every year malnutrition claims an unprecedented figure of lives underage – particularly in third world countries, including Afghanistan. According to sources’ statistics, 40 percent of Afghan children suffer malnutrition.

Health Specialists consider unhealthy diet during pregnancy, limited quality health services, illiteracy among families, and lack of knowledge about nutritious diet for newborns are some leading factors to the disease in the country.

According to physicians, malnutrition is two in type: One, in which the victims suffer dearth of adequate protein that cause muscles die and body gets skinny. While the second otherwise, consuming a great amount of protein cause body to swell.
