Members of the Peace and Rescue Council of Afghanistan says the government – due to its irresponsible position – has led the Qatar intra-Afghan dialogues to an abrupt suspension.
Gul Rahman Qazi, Head of the Council, at a press conference Tuesday said the government has sabotaged the Doha, Qatar Talks, causing an unexpected deadlock to the peace process.
He further said the government and the Taliban should not be after personal gains during the process.
Mohammad Mosa Frewar, Deputy Head to the Council, exclaimed all parties should grasp the opportunity for ending the long-fought Afghan war and prevailing peace by thoroughly understanding the ongoing crises in the country.
Meanwhile, Shahzada Masood, a member of the council, urged to re-launch the peace talks with the Taliban delegations, adding the government should not loss the opportunity for peace in Afghanistan.
