Ghazni (The Killid) – At least nine Taliban insurgents were killed and 10 further wounded, as Afghan security forces carried an attack against the militants in Qara Bagh district of the Southeastern province.
Local authorities in a statement said security forces have carried an attack at Laily Zai and Wala o Tola towns in Qara Bagh district that claimed at least nine Taliban, and five other arrested.
According to the statement, 10 abducted civilians – who were drooping in a container – were also freed from the grasp of the militant group.
Meanwhile, the Taliban claimed a local clergy along with four civilians were killed during the operation carried by Afghan security and coalition forces, adding forces took two civilians with themselves.
