Helmand (The Killid) – Afghan National Security Forces nabbed the Taliban designated District Governor for Mosa Qala of Helmand province in South, officials said in a statement.
According to the statement, Mullah Abdul Ghafoor son of Mullah Siffat, the Taliban self-proclaimed district governor, has been arrested by local authorities during a special operation.
The security officials have also seized some ammunitions, one vehicle and a motorcycle, statement added.
Taliban did not comment on the claim.
