Paris – French President Emmanuel Macron vowed to rebuild the medieval Catholic cathedral of Norte Dame de Paris, after it engulfed on fire earlier this week.
The fund to renovate the fire-ravaged Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris reached one billion euro, which will present the historic church newly in five years, according to sources.
Macron said in a televised address on Tuesday night that the cathedral would be rebuilt ‘even more beautifully’ within the next few years as he urged the French nation to ‘come together’, Dailymail reported.
Meanwhile, a number of French multinational companies and corporate contributors pledged money to restore the historic cathedral, which was engulfed by flames Monday following a likely accident.
Amongst the contributors are L’Oreal with 200 million euros (£172.7m) promised on Tuesday, while the LVMH luxury goods group run by Bernard Arnault, the richest man in France, has pledged the same.

It obviously is a huge amount of money that makes the President almost certain to claim the cathedral to be restored to its finest glory within the next “five years”.
