Nangarhar (The Killid) – At least four civilians, including two women, were killed as a mortar shot at Marky Khail district of Sherzad in Eastern province of Afghanistan, local authorities said.
Attauallah Khogyani, Spokesman for the provincial governor, said to The Killid, “The mortar is shot by the Taliban militants, which killed two men and two women after it hit a residence.”
According to Khogyani, seven further – including women and children – have been wounded during the incident.
Meanwhile, at least one person reported dead after a land mine – which was laid by the Taliban – blew a resident at Bam Ragha district of Khogyani.
Taliban so far did not comment on the incident.
