Faryab (The Killid) – At least six Taliban militants were killed and 14 further– including their head Mowlawi Ehsanullah – were wounded during clashes with Afghan security forces at Dawlat Abad district of Faryab province, local authorities said.
Mohammad Hanif Razae, Spokesman for 209th Shaheen Corps, said to The Killid, “Afghan security forces were aware of the Taliban purported attacks at central Dowlat Abad district, and had a heavy retaliation against the militants.”
Razay further said that Afghan security forces and the civilians have not suffered any injuries during the clashes.

It comes after the Taliban carried attack at the district a couple of days ago and had faced heavy causalities as Afghan security forces fed them back with same spoon until they retreated – the military style.
The clashes claimed and wounded at least 30 armed opposition group members, including four of their commander.
Taliban so far did not comment on the incident.
