Helmand (The Killid) – At least 12 people, including six children, were injured as a mine exploded at Grishk district in Southern province, according to provincial officials.
Umar Zawak, spokesman for the provincial governor, to The Killid, “Last night, after a mine exploded at Grishk district of the province, 12 people were wounded – of which six are children.”
According to Zawak, the mine had been previously laid by the armed government oppositions on the road, which exploded as the civilian vehicle pass through the path.
Victims are landed in hospital for care and recovery.
Opposition groups so far did not comment on this incident.
