Ghazni (The Killid) – At least nine Taliban insurgents have been killed in clashes with Afghan security forces Sunday night at Towhid Abad of Southeastern province, local authorities said.
Arif Noori, Spokesperson for the provincial governor, said to The Killid, “At least nine armed Taliban insurgents were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in Ghazni province – six of their corpse are left still on the battlefield.”
Afghan security forces have not suffered any causalities in the battle, he added.
Meanwhile, Taliban has carried attack at security posts “Sai Qala Naw” in central Ghazni, who were warded off after random fires at the area.
Taliban so far did not comment on the incident.
