Nangarhar (The Killid) – Engineer Zalmay Latify Founder and Director of the Enikass Radio and Television network in Nangarhar province is freed from kidnapers after five months.
Akmal Zaher, a journalist for Enikass, said to The Killid, “Mr. Latify is freed from kidnappers yesterday [Tuesday] and is now in good health.”
So far, it is not clear how the victim was freed, but local security officials said investigation is underway to find out the perpetrators of the kidnappings.
Latify, who previously served as the director of Nangarhar National Radio, now has his own TV and radio station in the province – the Enikass Radio and TV network.
