Sar-e-Pul (The Killid) – At least five Afghan National Security Forces were killed and seven further wounded, as the Taliban insurgents carried attack over forces base at Tabbar and Taghaye Khoja district of Sancharak in Northwest province of the country, local authorities said.
Zabiullah Ammani, spokesperson for the provincial governor, told The Killid, “The base located at center of Sancharak district that government armed opposition carried aggressive attacks at the base last night.”
Ammani further said at least four of the Taliban insurgents were killed, adding five other injured.
Sancharak is one of the most insecure district in Sar-e-Pul province, normally insurgents carry attack on Afghan security forces.
