Sar-e-Pul (The Killid) – An Afghan security post has collapsed into Taliban’s hand in Northwest of the country, as Militant groups have carried attack at Jowzjan-Sar-e-Pul highway, local authorities said.
The attacked claimed at least four Afghan forces; and wounded three further.
Mohammad Noor Rahmani, Head of provincial council, said to the Killid, “The militants attack was carried last night at a security post in center of Sar-e-Pul province, which resulted in losing an Afghan forces’ post into Taliban’s hand.”
Meanwhile, members of the provincial council expressing concerns said that security forces, including civilians, have lost confident due to lack of cooperation by central government regarding security in the city.
It comes as militant groups are spreading wings in the several districts of the province.
