Balkh (The Killid) – At least six armed insurgents killed and four other wounded, as Afghan forces carried “Waleed 40” military operation at Baba Qashqar district of Chatmal in North Afghanistan, provincial security officials said.
Mohammad Hanif Razae, the 209th Shaheed Corps spokesman, told the Killid, “Since the beginning of this operation, several Taliban hideouts have been wrecked in Chatmal district.”
Afghan forces has also discovered and neutralized four ground mines in the province, the officials added.

It comes after the Afghan security forces, in cooperation with coalition troops, carried special operations in war-raged areas of northern Afghanistan.
