Paktia (The Killid) – Provincial Anti-Crime Police in an operation on Sunday have discovered and seized at least 589kg of narcotic drugs in Paktia province, Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoIA) confirmed in a statement.
According to the statement, this amount of drugs “marijuana” was discovered and seized from a residence at Gharak village of Ahmad Abad district.
The statement added no one, so far, has been arrested on charges with the case, but investigation is underway to turn up the perpetrator/s.
Meanwhile, Afghan Anti-Crime Police (AACP) in another operation have discovered 15 kg of heroine, which was hidden in a vehicle at Polecharkhi check point in Kabul city.
Police nabbed two in the case.
