Zabul (The Killid) – At least nine Taliban insurgents were killed and seven other wounded during clashes with provincial security forces in Arghandab district of Zabul province, Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoIA) confirmed in a statement.
According to the statement, Taliban insurgents were killed and wounded during an armed battle with Afghan security forces at Sarkuli, Surkh Sang, and a police post in Arghandab districts of Zabul province.
The statement added no causalities have been reported on security forces and civilians.
In another news, Zabul police nabbed six on charges with criminal cases in Zabul.
Taliban, so far, has not commented on the claim.
