Afghan president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, on sidelines of Munich Security Conference, met Secretary of State for Defense Gavin Williamson, and discussed bilateral security cooperation and joint counter-terrorism efforts to eliminate the threat that challenges not only Afghanistan, but the entire world.
In the meeting, Secretary Gavin expressed mutual cooperation and joint efforts to eliminate security threats.
According to the Presidential Palace, Ghani met with other leaders and high-ranking officials of different countries on sidelines of the 55th Munich Security Conference held in February 15-17.
More than 600 high-ranked international leaders, business tycoons, academia and civil society also attend the conference, discussing current crises and future security challenges.
