Taliban Appoints New Leader for Peace Negotiation

Taliban peace negotiation with some Unites States delegation is an ongoing issue, and to further facilitate this negotiations, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada, Taliban leader; and Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, deputy chief, have appointed a new leader, Taliban group aired in a statement.

Taliban Appoints New Leader for Peace Negotiation

Taliban peace negotiation with some Unites States delegation is an ongoing issue, and to further facilitate this negotiations, Mawlawi Hibatullah Akhundzada, Taliban leader; and Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, deputy chief, have appointed a new leader, Taliban group aired in a statement.
The statement states the following as a new team:
1. Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, Leader of the negotiation team
2. Mowlawi Zia-ur-Rahman, member S
3. Mowlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, member
4. Shaikh Shahabuddin Dalawar, member
5. Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, member
6. Mullah Abdulmanan Omri, member
7. Mowlawi Amir Khan Mottaqi, member
8. Mullah Mohammad Fazil Mazloom, member
9. Mullah Khairullah Khair Khowa, member
10. Mowlawi Mateul Haq, member
11. Mullah Mohammad Anas Haqqani, member
12. Mullah Mohammad Noorullah Noori, member
13. Mowlawi Mohammad Nabi Omri, member
14. And Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq, member
The mentioned team, representing Taliban group, will sit on next peace negotiation with the US delegations scheduled on February 25.
