Takhar – at least 11 civilians, including children, were killed and wounded as a mortar shell dropped in a residential house in central Takhar, local authorities confirmed.
Mohammad Jawad Hijri, Provincial spokesman to governor, told the Killid that today at 07:30 in the morning a shell is fired to a residential house in Taloqan, which claimed two children and a women. Eight other, mostly children, are wounded.
According to Hijri, one wounded person’s condition is reportedly said to be severe.
No group, including Taliban, has yet claimed responsibility.
