Afghan President, Mohamamd Ashraf Ghani said peace in which there is no role guaranteed for Afghan security and defense forces is unacceptable.
President Ghani expressed this issue last night at a ceremony dedicated to the Special Operation Commandos who recently released 38 militaries and civilians from a Taliban prison in Abband district of Ghazni province.
He exclaimed, “Till my last breath, I will not accept peace agreement that are not sustainable.”
According to Ghani, Afghan Security Forces are moving towards self-sufficiency; and peace will be obtained in which their role is clear and evident.
President Ghani saying Afghanistan wouldn’t be in crises if there was tactics, emphasized that mistakes of the past will not be repeated.
He added that we will move forward with plans and tactics; we will do our responsibilities accordingly.
Meanwhile, Former Second Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan, Mohammad Mohaqiq in a meeting on Friday accused President Ghani for a barrier to peace, saying he does not want peace in the country by maintaining power.
