At least two rockets landed in the limits of 16th police district in Pul-e Charkhi area of the capital Kabul on Sunday but inflicted no casualties, an official said.
The spokesman of Kabul Police, Hashmatullah Stanikzai said the rockets were fired from the Pul-e-Charkhi area and one landed on Tapa Maranjan and another on Qala-i-Zamankhan.
Hours later, one rocket hit Nadir Khan hill in Police District 8 of the city. It also left no casualties, health ministry said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the rocket attacks.
Rocket lands on Kabul at times when Afghanistan celebrates its 99th independence day.
