Afghanistan’s ace spinner Rashid Khan said he would not tweak his bowling action in the upcoming one-off Test match against India.
In an interview with an Indian news agency, the 19-year-old conceded that he is going to continue bowling in the same way as he bowls in the shorter formats.
He remarked that the actual change will be in the mindset. He needs to ensure that he does not get disappointed if he fails to pick up any wicket in the game.
“Being a Test cricketer is not a lot different to playing ODIs and T20s. I have done well in whatever four-day opportunities that I have got. If I make changes in my bowling thinking about the Test, it will not be good for me. I will bowl with the same speed I have been bowling so far,” Rashid Khan told PTI.
Team India will be hosting Afghanistan in the historic game that will be played in Bengaluru commencing on June 14.
