At least 10 Taliban insurgents were killed and 13 injured in Taliban offensive attacks on police check posts in Qaisar district of Faryab last night.
Karim Yorush, spokesman for Faryab police, told Killid that Taliban offensives were repulsed and security forces also seized weapons and ammunition of Taliban insurgents.
In a separate incident, three Afghan soldiers were killed and one injured in a mine explosion in Qaisar.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
