Iqbal Baher, spokesman for Farah police, told Killid that eight Taliban insurgents were killed and 10 injured in Taliban attacks on police check posts in Posht Koh district.
He added that coalition forces also targeted a Taliban vehicle in Dasht-e-Balot area of Posht Ko in which six Taliban insurgents were killed and their explosives were destroyed.
Taliban militants are yet to comment on the incidents.
