Gunmen Storm Save The Children Office in Nangarhar

Gunmen have attacked Save the Children Organisation’s provincial office in PD3rd of Jalalabad, provincial capital of Nangarhar, around 9 am today.
Officials confirmed one suicide bomber detonated his explosives at the gate of the compound, opening the way for gunmen to enter.
Asadullah Dawlatzai, Killid reporter from the scene, said that clashes between insurgents and security force members are ongoing.
He added that 11 injured were transferred from the blast site to hospital.
The Save the Children Fund, commonly known as Save the Children, is an international non-governmental organisation that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
