Four Afghan-Turk School Teachers Missing in Kabul

Officials of Afghan-Turk schools in Afghanistan said that four teachers of the school, including three Turkish and one Afghan nationals, are missing.
Fawad Haidari, deputy head of Afghan-Turk schools in Afghanistan, told media that the teachers were on their way to the centre of Kabul city when they were disappeared in Taimani area of Kabul.
Meanwhile a source from Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) speaking on the condition of anonymity said that the National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives have detained the teachers, a claim which have been rejected by MoI.
Haidari added that Afghan security forces raided the Afghan-Turk female high school in Taimani area in Kabul on Tuesday evening and surrounded the school.
The students and their parents claimed that the security forces then entered the girls’ hostel.
The students said they were scared after seeing security forces at the school.
Following an unsuccessful cope last year, the Turkish government asked Kabul to handover the leadership of Afghan-Turk schools to government of Turkey.
Turkish government claims that these schools are led by Fethullah Gulen, who the Turkish government says was behind the military cope.
