Afghans launched big demonstrations in many provinces against the recent decision made by the United States President Donald Trump about the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel yesterday.
Trump on Wednesday announced that he officially recognises Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. His decision raised worldwide concern.
Trump also ordered the shifting of the US Embassy in Tel Aviv to the contested city of Jerusalem.
Afghans launched protests in the Afghan capital, Kabul, and in a number of provinces such as Kunduz, Balkh, Baghlan, Paktia, Paktika, Panjshir, Nimroz and many more and sharply criticized US president’s decision.
Trump’s decision puts him at odds with the international community, which insists the issue can only be resolved through negotiations.
