Afghanistan are all poised to take on Ireland in the first One-Day International (ODI) in Sharjah today.
The national squad would play three ODIs against Ireland on December 5, 7 and 10, Afghanistan Cricket Board spokesman Farid Hotak said.
Afghanistan gained a slight edge on Ireland by winning several matches, including the Intercontinental Cup game in February 2017.
