Local officials in Nangarhar reported that foreign forces’ airstrike targeted Daesh hideouts in the province.
Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor, said that one of the airstrikes targeted Daesh militants’ hideout in Wazir Tangi area in Khogyani district where four insurgents were killed and eight others were wounded.
Khogyani added that eight Daesh fighters were killed a separate airstrike by foreign forces in Achin district in the province.
He further stated that there were no civilian casualties.
