Three high-ranking officials of Paktika province, including the governor, police chief and commander of 303 Spinghar Police Zone have been suspended over infighting among Paktika police.
According to the sources, Assadullah Shirzad, commander of 303 Spinghar Police Zone, Ilyas Wahdat, Paktika governor and Mohammad Azim Hashimi, Paktika police chief have been suspended.
The officials were suspended following the infighting among Paktika police on Sunday evening which claimed the lives of three policemen and wounded 25 others.
